The Secret to Life

The secret in life is becoming a magnet for higher vibrations of love. When I released the negative emotional basis from my past, I found an inner void. The silent voice inside, told me that now I could fill that emptiness with self-esteem. Each time I let go of another fault, I was told to replace each one with love and grace.

I will never forget the first time I felt grace. I was meditating while camping in Death Valley National Park. It felt so good to have grace from head to toe. Today, I know I am a spiritual being releasing my human shortcomings. My inner being changes to a love-based person from a fear-based person. To improve my surroundings, I focus upon the best things currently until I flood my vibrational patterns with thoughts of gratitude and appreciation.  

Over thirty years ago, I started a gratitude list that I add to daily to keep my focus on thankfulness. I had to lift my self-imposed limitations - all limitations are self-imposed - and free myself to receive wonderful things. With a changed higher vibration, I allow the new-and-improved conditions and circumstances to come into my experience. 

Ask yourself, what do I want?” Take one of your wants and ask yourself the following questions: What feelings will I have if I want more, get that, or want what I do not have today? How will I change when I get this want? How will my life change when I get this want? What do I see my life looking like when I get this want?

In the moment, with my new state of being vibrating my own unique vibration, with no agendas or planning, I create my new life by attracting like energies in perfect synchronicity and timing. No one can deny or grant anything. I attract it by vibration. It is a universal law that like attracts like. The trick is that I have to remove the barriers so what I want can manifest. My book, "Paradigm Busters Reveal the Real You" at Amazon or at Barnes & Nobel have the steps chapter by chapter to accomplish this.

When I understand this principle, it becomes easy to differentiate between what raises my vibrations closer to my Creator and what keeps me separated. I found I could raise my energy by using tuning forks, receiving energy healing, acupuncture, and by means of massage. In addition, applying the universal laws, prayer, and meditation will raise my energy into a higher consciousness. 

Other means include taking homeopathic remedies as flower essences, Chinese herbs, and drinking pure water support a higher energy within. Watching spiritual movies, reading spiritual material, and listening to classical music raise my spirit. In addition, consuming non-toxic drinks, eating organic foods, and looking for the good in my life make a big change.

The following quote by Benjamin Franklin sums it up: “Through what seemed like insurmountable obstacles, persistently reaching for the better thought, for authenticity and trust brought me to a place of abundance, self-acceptance, and love. Of course, the journey continues with new seeds of awareness sprouting every day. Using our God-given energy to persist in love we can face the monsters and live to tell the tale. Even transform them into beautiful beings of light. It’s what we all signed up for.”

My life today is not without tests and challenges. However, I do not put myself in places to be hurt and my past is not being recreated in my life. Gratefully, my fear of financial insecurity has left. I can even speak up today when intimidated and in tough situations.

My biggest learning has been to meditate. Listening to my inner guidance and direction has brought me the truth for which I was searching. I know that my spiritual help is with me constantly for support and protection. I am empowered. I have learned to respond in love instead of react from fear. My third dimensional life of duality based in fear has moved into the reality of “oneness” where there is peace, harmony, and balance―a higher consciousness.

In the last thirty-four years, I have overcome many medical, emotional and relationship problems. I have learned how the dynamics of life work and how to change the cause and consequences in life to feel better. I have awakened into a higher consciousness within.

When I changed, my life changed. I found the light inside. That light within is the Creator and is in all things. It is my power, strength, and supply. The spiritual core of my enlightenment emerges as the darkness leaves. Life is about mastering my emotions, as I grow into mature. Sharing my answers and solutions feels good. I co-create my own reality.

I have discovered my tasks will never be all done. I am right on track, right on schedule. Everything is unfolding perfectly. There will be challenges to continue the choice to respond in love to all my experiences.

The best is yet to come. Now, I realize that I will never have everything I want. I feel better and I find more of the things that I want flow to me. No one is keeping score. Amends Bring Accord

                                           

My vocabulary has grown since I began my spiritual journey.  The longer I am on this path, new words occur for my growing vocabulary. Over the years I find a new understanding of words.  Their deeper meaning provides a way of life that was new to me, 32 years ago. Amends was a new word to me. I was trying so hard to be perfect; I did not understand the significance and wisdom behind this action.

My first amends was to my mother right out of treatment. I told my counselor the story and he said I was not responsible for her feelings. I had always gone around saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I am alive." This was to calm the waters around me and I became the sacrificial lamb in the family. I found out I did not need to make amends to her for this particular situation. I then found out it is a good idea to check this idea of amends with my counselor to see if it is appropriate.

Then, I made an amends to a fellow worker for talking a chart off her desk, as I as too lazy to make my own. At the time she discovered what I had done, she was furious. However, she was most pleasant about it when I made my amends. She told me that it takes a big person to apologize. I was only trying to get rid of my anxiety and guilt because I worked with her every day. I did not see my action as anything more than wanting to find my inner peace and serenity.

I made an amends to my daughter for leaving her and her brother alone in a motel at Disneyland while her dad and I went drinking. This had been tearing me apart for years, emotionally. Surprisingly, I found out she was not upset at her abandonment without a dinner. She understood, she told me. She knew what would happen if I had not gone with him. She was upset about an entirely different incident, of which I never knew was a problem to her.

I heard in a meeting about forgiving yourself. That was not something I had heard about before. I thought about this, over time. Now, I understand that forgiveness is about leaving the past in the past, so I can live in the day, one day at a time. Amends change my energy into harmony when I let it go. Most people have accepted my amends graciously.

As I have forgiven myself, I do not have to beat myself up for not being perfect. Now, I understand where and when I need to make right with another person for my actions that harm them. It may be restitution, reimbursement, or acknowledging I was wrong.

Recently, I was very tired from overdoing when walking and climbing stars that day on a tour, because of my arthritis. In a conversation with my fellow that evening about dinner plans for the next evening, I got angry. I vented well because it could have been a short talk and he kept making it more complicated. I let him get the blunt of my tiredness from being exhausted and in pain. In a few minutes after hanging up on him, I called back and told him that I realized how dog-tired I was and that I was sorry I had had gotten so angry from overdoing it on the excursion. Today, I recognize it sooner, take responsibility for it faster, and move on.

This changes my energy into harmony and releases it into the past. I do not have to carry that with me anymore. I can be free of that weight and be liberated to enjoy my life. Amends allows me to give up the wrongs and enjoy the presence of God today.

Be Emotionally Available

Are you able to be emotionally available to yourself and those around you? Most people think they listen to their feelings. Stuffing feelings with alcohol, prescription drugs, food, overachieving, and being a workaholic, all stop emotions from evolving. I did this for years, until my health became nearly terminal.

It is much easier to cover these emotions with behavior, imbibing excessively with drinks or foodstuff, or other addictions. I did not want to feel the fear, anger, or anxiety. It is easier to ignore my guilt, shame, or resentments, and then be honest with myself. These deceitful ways of ignoring my inner messages that help me ultimately understand who I really am, causes more problems than I realize.

Over time, suppressing toxic energy, of fearful feelings or secrets can, often cause medical symptoms as cancer or other diseases. Taking toxic substances impair my best intentions. In addition self-destructing behaviors need transformation for a healthy conscious life. Ultimately, without releasing my negative, non-productive energy in my body, I cannot feel my inner guidance system of feelings. My emotional life shuts down.
