What Is A Soul Healer?

By Marilyn L. Redmond

My video in-depth interview with Jim Masters, https://youtu.be/qtVR11ug0NY offers information that is not usually discussed. There are more effective and superior ways to resolve old problems and trauma in your life. Exploring different ways to improve your daily living is possible. It takes deeper elucidation into the subconscious to resolve old issues.

Do you have problems in your life? Are they coming from past reminiscences or unknown places than currently in your life? Most of us have past baggage that we learned growing up and from school, society, and organizations when we were young that are not in our best benefit.

Some people go for various kinds of help, counseling, or use meditation.  When the answers are not helping it might be a good idea to explore a deeper way as regression to resolve the old issues in a loving response. It is possible to heal the past and no longer have it being an influence in your daily life. The old solutions are often superficial. They may address the mental and behavioral reactions to your daily life, but do they really stop the dilemma?

Do you feel like your past is dead weight? Because it is.  Years earlier ,I did not realize how much those emotional ties to the past were being acted out in my daily life. Old issues are history and do not have any influence on my current day unless I am still hanging on to them. I took a class years back that said, I need to finish my unfinished business, as it is draining my energy for the existing day.

I found my anger and resentments were based from earlier days that did not go my way or people had not done what I wanted.  I was still reliving those emotions. That anger was not needed today as those situations were years ago. I realized I had to release them and heal them to be able to enjoy my current day completely. Any emotional stirrings to the past were waiting for my loving resolution of them.

One day, I was walking from one room and had to step down into the family room, when I heard the inner message that  all the family anger has been coming down through generations and landed on my shoulders to heal.  I was not raised to be angry. The current motto when I grew up was nice little girls do not get angry.  To say I am free from the triggers of past anger. However, I still find stuffed anger once in awhile that shows up to be heard and healed.

Uncovering the old stuffed negative emotions from your life and the lives of the generational emotions you were raised in, is important if you want to live one day at a time. The old unresolved baggage drains off your energy for the day and over time will become an illness as it continues to drain you of your daily power.

The answer is to find the origin of the trauma, difficulty, lack, or fear. With appropriate help to heal the source of the trouble, there are no more symptoms later. This resolves their influence into your current life. The energy for your daily adventures is complete to enjoy. The burdens from your past history and daily history are no longer affecting you present experiences.

I do not have to relive others unhappiness. I had been a good sponge and took on the abuse, pessimism, and other negativity from the family and others that were unhappy. I am a worthy person, I now can be authentic, have sovereignty, and   have my own life to take pleasure in. I do not carry the weight of my past or that from the family. I am free, happy, and lighter.

The work of a soul healer brings a love that never fails. A new life without the past weight to carry is the reward. Your soul is a "piece of God" and has not been able to function completely. Now with your new ability to respond in love to situations, you move into living in the "Now". You are emotionally available to enjoy your experiences and feel terrific.

It is the ability to live in the moment that is the reward. That is why it is called The Present. Being emotionally available to know you are loved and always have been is the healing.  When living in the current day without the emotional hangovers, your life comes alive to feel compassion, elation, happiness, and enjoy all the events each day.

. A spiritual minister/soul healer offers help from experience and wisdom. Love never fails.    My interview with Jim Masters https://youtu.be/qtVR11ug0NY  explains this and more.

LIVING IN THE DAY

 Living in the Day

By Rev. Marilyn Redmond,  BA, IBRT, ABH

I worried about the future, as I did not see my way into a better life. I had one foot in the past and one foot in the future without my being present in the moment. This thinking was repeated, as the abuse did not stop. My life felt horrible, terrible, and awful. It seems endless. Through a crisis, I prayed for help. This was unusual for me because I only had learned to pray out of a hymnal in church. Even then, my prayers did not seem answered; I was still living in my dysfunctional life as the family servant. Something happened with my new prayer because it came from my heart. My prayer was answered in more ways then I realized at the time.

I found some wisdom in how to make my life more pleasant through a spiritual path and program. As a youngster, I had no knowledge there was another way to live life. I did not have to stay in fear and react as a victim, helpless and hopeless. Gradually, I learned to release my past harms, fears, and difficulties to replace them with love and grace. I even had to heal the trauma of my parents’ unresolved issues that I emotionally carried.

My biggest lesson was to live in the moment which is a gift and that is why it is called “The Present “. I would like to share some pearls of wisdom with you to stay present in your life. They have kept me sane and happier, when I remember them. Learning to make my thinking and activities productive from a good motivation in my heart and the right mind set has changed my world.

JUST FOR TODAY

• Just for today, I will try to live though this day only, and not tackle all my problems at once. I can do something for twelve hours that would appall me, it I felt that I had to keep it up for a lifetime.
• Just for today, I will be happy. This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said, “Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be”.
• Just for today, I will adjust myself to what is, and not try to adjust everything to my own desires. I will take my “luck” as it comes, and fit myself to it.
• Just for today, I will try to strengthen my mind. I will study. I will learn something useful. I will not be a mental loafer. I will read something that requires effort, thought, and concentration.
• Just for today, I will exercise my soul in three ways: I will do somebody a good turn and not get found out; if anybody knows of it, it will not count. I will do at least two things I do not want to do—just for exercise. I will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt; they may be hurt, but today I will not show it.
• Just for today, I will be agreeable, I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, keep my voice low, be courteous, criticize not one bit. I will not find fault with anything, not try to improve or regulate anybody but myself.
• Just for today, I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have it. I will save myself from two pests: hurry and indecision.
• Just for today, I will have a quiet half hour all by myself and relax. During this half hour, sometime I will try to get a better perspective on my life.
• Just for today, I will be unafraid. Especially, I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give to me.
Al-anon Family Groups

I do not have to worry about the future if I have a good day today. My day today becomes tomorrow. In addition, I would like to share my favorite prayer. In a time of real despair, I remembered this prayer. As I prayed, my sanity returned. I realized the truth in the words and was able to move forward into a new mindset of peace.

Prayer For Today

Lord make me a channel of Thy peace—that where there is hatred, I may bring love—that where there is wrong—I may bring the spirit of forgiveness—that where there is discord, I may bring harmony—that where there is error, I may bring truth—that where there is doubt I may bring faith —that where there is despair, I may bring hope — that where there are shadows I may bing light—that where there is sadness, I may bring joy. Lord, grant that I may seek to comfort than to be comforted—to understand than to be understood—to love than to be loved. For it is with self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven. It is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life.

In each chapter of my book, “Paradigm Busters” at Amazon, I explain the process for moving out of the times past into a life of being present in the day. Over the years, my life has grown into daily gratitude. Life has changed into happier times.

I am an ordained minister for spiritual counseling , healing, soul healing, mediumship, and readings.  I am on the board for International Board Regression Therapy, IBRT, and healing past lives and also on the American Board for Hypnotherapy as a Certified and Registered Hypnotist, ABH. MOVE INTO A HIGHER PERCEPTON FOR A NEW VISION

There is always more to learn on the path of spirituality and personal growth. I will never graduate as the levels of vibration and frequencies of awareness continue upward. I needed to obtain a divorce to be safe. Nevertheless, I realized I needed to acknowledge my part; I wanted to move into a better place beyond the past harms. For that reason, I discovered that forgiveness and making amends frees me to do this. This allows me to move into a higher perception.

This was not easy for me at first; I have to forgive all those harms from the past. Realizing, inner peace is only complete by forgiveness for others and myself brought a new understanding. My ego wanted to prove I had the right to be distressed. It told me that my husband could not be forgiven when I was harmed by his actions and abuse. Conversely, I read that it is a spiritual axiom that every time we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, there is something wrong with us.

This means I have to look at myself and get honest about my motivations and actions. It is necessary to look at my side of the street in all my dealings. I have to see where my own behavior has affected someone else. The picture is not pretty when I get honest. I even won an international writing contest with my article, "All Time Victim". It is available on my web site or on Amazon.  Recognizing that I was in survival and self-seeking as a victim was an abrupt awakening. It was not easy to accept. Yes, I was the injured party but I played the part very well.

I used people for my security, protection, to love me, and take care of me. It became time to grow up. I was dishonest with myself, thinking other people were there to make me okay, provide my needs, and love me. I was so afraid in my wounded place that all I could see was poor me, poor me. I recognized that I was keeping myself that victim by not acting in my own best interest.

Becoming assertive instead of passive was the key to changing my thinking from being the prey. It was a huge step out of my being the injured party. Taking the steps to become courageous to speak up for my needs had never been in the cards for me. When I was a child, I was to be seen and not heard. In fact, my stepfather told me, “We do not want to hear what you have to say.”

My journey sorting out the truth from the false is continuing. This is a long process with lots of challenges and lessons in its path to not mentally and emotionally continue recreating my learned mindset and reactions from childhood. In my book, "Paradigm Busters", at Amazon, I explain all the steps to release the past for a new life. The work is worth the effort. As I was in the early stages of this change, I found grace in my meditation while camping at a national park. It felt good. I wanted more of that.

I was living in a fantasy that everyone and everything should go my way. I learned to forgive myself as I did survive the abuse, trauma, and difficulties. Now it is time to move into maturity. I vowed never to volunteer to be a victim again. Neale Donald Walsch said, "Move forward with no second-guessing, no guilt trips, no hesitation. Your purpose is to recreate yourself anew in each moment." I needed to give up the past by releasing it for the good feelings.

Realizing that I was being influenced from my past harms that continued in the old ways of reacting, was a challenge. The choice to live in current situations and not run from them was a huge step into growing up. The help I needed was to turn to the Father of Light in all things.

It would take courage to respond to daily life experiences with new and healthy tools. One way to help me was by saying, "God I need more faith for this one, here we go again". Then I found an affirmation that I daily declare to help. It is "God there is nothing that you and I together, cannot do, today." Asking for help made a lot of difference. It brought the audacity I lacked. Nowadays, I move forward in life, learning to do the next right thing in front of me. It keeps my focus on the "Now" which is reality. Doing the right thing is never wrong.

Recognizing that living in the moment is a gift and that is why it is called The Present brought a new vision for moving forward in my life out of being a victim from my past. This clears the slate to be autonomous. “The New Me” is one of my early poems in my first book, "Roses Have Thorns".

               Vision—A “New” Me

Total acceptance of myself means the opportunity

for reality. Unconditional love grants

my own gentleness, caring. Courtesy lifts

my dignity, sees value. Tolerance

understands favorably my mistakes,

errors. Self-esteem believes in confidence,

guides my life. Sharing my experiences, feelings

creates life’s happiness. Many interests

bring a fulfilling life, helping others

through their strife. Spirituality generates

peace of mind, worth, knows

the purpose for my birth.

My books are being distributed internationally to prisons and used as a booked study in San Quentin. I was just included in the current, prodigious book, "Who's Who in America. This concept is explained further in her books, You Tubes, readings, and counseling. Marilyn Redmond is an ordained minister for spiritual counseling, readings, regression, IBRT, and healing, ABH.
